SShow meeting minutes  October 18, 2004

Meeting called to order by Mike Morgan @ 7:25 p.m.
Treasurers Report given by Nance Walker in Janae Christiansen's absence.  
Sept. Balance: $904.59   $87.56 spent on award ribbons for yr. end 
banquet.  

Checks for banquet totaled $ 216.00.  Still more RSVP'S yet to come in.  
SSHOW present total  to date=  $1,033.03
Discussion RE: current wording in the UABHA premium books for proper 
qualifying classes  to enter the corresponding Championship Classes.  A 
vote will be taken at the Nov. meeting asking members to vote on which 
classes they want to be included for qualifying for specific Championships 
classes.  Nance will take the results back to the UABHA meeting to be put into 
effect for the 2005 show year.

Sat. Nov. 6th trail ride:  Antelope Island .  Meet there 11a.m.  Mike 
Morgan will be the trail guide for this one.  Bring lunch and water.  Contact 
Mike for further details!

Welcome to Deserai Shields and Shelly Spradlin, members who made the 
effort to drive down for the meeting from Idaho!!  They both enjoy trail 
riding and are looking forward to coming to our monthly rides whenever possible! 
Deserai also shows her horses and will be participating in the UABHA 
shows this coming year.

Awards banquet is well under way and the turn-out is expected to be 
good.  There will be entertainment, excellent menu, silent auction,  drawings 
for "horsey" items, prizes for Halloween costumes, high point as well as 
fun awards.  This is THE fun event of the year, and the "Show and Awards 
Committee" have gone all out to see that this will be an event well 
worth attending!!!!!

Deserai asked if there would be an interest in exhibiting in a local 
FOSH show on Sat. June 4th, 2005.  A discussion followed.  With so few in 
attendance, we held off on a definite commitment from the club until 
more people could be in attendance.

Mike recommended adjournment.  Seconded by Tom.

PLEASE NOTE ON YOUR CALENDARS:  November meeting will be Monday Nov. 
15th @ 7p.m. at the Prudential Building S.L.C.  THIS WILL BE THE FINAL MEETING 
FOR 2004!!!!!  THERE WILL BE NO MEETING IN DECEMBER.  We will be voting on 
several items for the up coming 2005 year.  Please make an effort to be 
in attendance!  If you are not there, you will not be able to give your 
input for the activities and direction you would like for this club to take 
for the 2005 year.
