Minutes of Feb. meeting tabled until next month.

Secty. Report - Nance:  copies of SSHBEA correspondance passed out to 
members for review regarding the requests for SSHBEA Sanctioning  3 of 
our shows this show season.  Letter written to Dee Dee Decker, editor of 
the SSHBEA magazine,  praising the Natioonal support by SSHBEA sponsoring 
our booth at the horse expo. as well as the promotional items sent.

Treasurers Report - Janae:  SSHOW yearly form for incorporation ready 
to send in.  Requestiong ok for $7.00 check to accomp. form.  Approved and 
check made out.   Discussion about the up-coming expenses needed for 
our shared expense to the Utah All Breed for the 2006 show season.  Exact 
figures are not yet available at this time.
Bank balance: $1,238.78

New members names read and approved.  They are : 1)  Heather Brady

Lengthy discussion  on Horse Expo:   Overall opinion was a great 
response & interest this year!!  New and renewed members signed up as discussed 
under "treasurers report".  SSHBEA was a great support of our booth.  
Leslies'exhibition on her SSH, "Bruce" was a fantastic promotion of our breed!  
Shelia had questions presented to her at the booth on advertising in 
our monthly newsletter if they are NOT a SSHOW member.  Discussion was held 
and the following decision was made and voted on :  1/3 page $5.00/ month 
paid up front;  2/3 page $10.00/month paid up front;  full page $15.00/month 
paid up front;  buisness card $2.50/month paid up front  Checks are to be 
made out to "SSHOW". SSHOW members advertising buisness card size: FREE   Shelia made motion 
to approve.  Janae seconded.  Motion passed unam.
Ideas for next year:  more AND BETTER graphics on our back wall at 
booth. On - going video of our SSH breed, an organizer on the table for our 
forms, a drawing for prizes to draw people to our booth.

Newsletter Editor - Shelia:
Shelia also volunteered to re-do our SSHOW logo to make it easier to 
print on our newsletter.  Also suggested that the SSHOW President write a 
column in the monthly newsletter.  Wants more ideas for the newsletter...ideas 
presented were a "spotlight" on our youth so we get to know them 
better.

Trail Rides:  The following dates have been set for trail rides for the 
year:  Sat. April 22;   Sat. May 20;   Sat. June 24;   Sat.  July 22;   
Sat. August 19;   Sat. Sept. 23;   Sat. Oct. 14.
Dalene Collins offered to head up the trail rides for the year.  If 
anyone would like to take one of these dates and plan the ride for that month 
contact Dalene @ 801-360-4735

Ad Hoc Committees were discussed and the following members were 
appointed:

Election for Board of Directors

2 positions open for the 2006 year.  Present members of the Board to 
remain this year are :  Ron Kunz, Mike Morgan, Leslie Topham.
Dalene Collins nominated by Roy Topham,  Shelia Smith was nominated by 
Janae Christiansen.  No further nom.  Voting was unam.
