 Mtg. called to order @ 7:15 p.m. by Pres. Ron Kunz

 Min. from March mtg. approved as written.  Motion by Mike Morgan.  
 Seconded by Janae C.
 
 Janae gave treas. rpt.  Gaye Schmid renewal of 2003 membership read 
 and approved. $1,231.00 in treasury. Our SSHOW t-shirts arrived at printers
 today.  Extras were ordered for sale later in yr.

 $7.00 annual fee sent in for our SSHOW Corp.
 2005 NHS Affiliation to be submitted  split fee between MSTWHBA and 
 SSHOW.  Total due = $200.00.  This is to be a shared expense between 
 the 2 organizations as follows:  $90.00 from SSHOW; $110.00 from
 MSTWHBA.  Mike recommended Janae send a check to Kathy Dorius, 
UABHA Secty.   Unanmiously agreed.

 Secty. Report:
 Nance will submit an article to SSH News (SSHBEA) re: the trail 
 ride last Sat. with photos of the ride.  In the Spring Fling premium book,
 the 2 - gait Championship is scheduled AFTER the 3 - gait Championship. 
 This is an error and Nance will clarify that with Kathy before the June show!

 Mike brought up the 30th April/ May1st Clinic given by Nichole Carsewell 
 at the Hunter Arena.  All gaited horse owners are encouraged to 
 attend.  Cost:  $10.00 Spectator Fee,  $25.00 if you bring your horse.  
 Emphasis will be on equitation.  Time: 9a.m - 6 p.m. Lunch included in fee.
 
 April Trail Ride:
 Held last Sat. headed up by Ron Kunz.  The ride began at 10:00a.m. 
 meeting at the Dugway exit.  9 riders in all.  We saw several small 
 herds of wild mustangs, one heard with 2 foals spotted.  2 rogue stallions 
 spotted by themselves.  Also saw a herd of antelope with 7 on the 
 move.  A splendid day and weather to match!!

 May trail ride will be headed up by Leslie and Roy Topham.  This 
 will be >over Memorial Day week-end in the Strawberry area.  It will consist of 
 riding throughout the week-end.  For those who can only come on one of 
 the days, they are encouraged to do so.  For those who want to come for 
 the week-end, bring your campers/ tents.  RSVP to Tophams ( 661-2414).

 May 20 - 22nd Trail Ride:
 An annual event sponsored by Billie Davis in Joseph, Utah for the 
 benefit of St. Jude's Hospital .  Ron Kunz has done this ride for many 
 yrs. and highly recommends it.  A benefit auction will be held on Sat. 
 night Proceeds go to St. Judes Hospital.  Call Ron for more information
 (558-8763)

 Discussion was held re: e-mailed vs mailed copies of the monthly 
 newsletter.  Members present agreed they preferred a MAILED copy as 
 opposed to the e-mail.

 Julie Christianson  will update the Historian post when she gets home 
 from school next month.
